The Environmental Quality Study Center and the University Consortium for Applied Research provided scientific and technical support for the implementation of an Integrated Management System for Quality, Environmental to Environmental Division  of Padova Service Company  (APS) about "Urban and special waste management  . Gathering, transportation, storage and pre-commissioning reserve,  maintenance, vehicle washing and annexed sewage treatment plant "and the creation of an Environmental Management System of San Lazzaro thermal Plant   (Padua) compliant with ISO 14001 and EMAS Regulation .

This plant is the first EMAS registered incineration plant  in Italy.
